Safety Reinforced Type: SGA |

Application and Features |
● |
The sight glass is so designed as to
have multiple protection of its glasses from internal
or external pressure thus ensuring absolute safety.
Flowing or remaining stuff in the sight glass does
not flow out immediately even if a part of the glasses
may be damaged by some mishap. Therefore, possible
accident can be prevented
|
● |
As the construction of the viewing port of this sight
glass is a cartridge containing sealed up three layers
of circular flat glasses, replacement work is as easy as
to replace the cartridge with a new one when a part of
the layers may be damaged. |
● |
A conventional general purpose sight
glass can be easily replaced with this safety reinforced
sight glass by altering cover plates, bolts, gaskets
and glasses to the cartridges.
|
● |
Inner-most glass faced to the liquid in the cartridge
is a tempered hard glass with a fluoride resin film laid
over its liquid side surface in case where the sight glass
is used under temperature below 180℃, with which it can
be applied to a highly corrosive liquid. |
● |
In addition to the contrivance, various considerations
have been taken in to secure safety in case where the sight
glass is used for steam service, say to employ mica shield.
The sight glass becomes safer instrument against external
impact if such fitting as covering lid or net is provided
with. |
