By-Pass Sight Glass is used at the time when especially import flow is required to observe or when surface of the glass is required to keep particularly clean and/or when the glass may be broken due to critical operating conditions. Sight Glass can be made maintenance or cleaning of the glass with no stopping flow of main pipe owing to the shut-off valves installed at both sides of sight glass on the by-pass piping.

The glass is usually free from pressure since the valves
are shut except the time of fluid observation. |
